Why must I be a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics to join NEGDA?

The Northeast Georgia Dietetic Association is the district affiliate of the Georgia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, which is the state affiliate of the Academy. Many RDNs, DTRs, and dietetic students and interns feel that the membership fee is too high to join the Academy.  However, there are so many benefits of Academy membership that essentially pay for this professional membership fee in savings.
